Time to release the POV Steam patch. This patch, will make POV more compatible with Steam.

Also added a Download FAQ to the Downloads page.

Azure Stand will be the sequel of Point of View and it will be the sequel of Azure Sheep also.
It will be a Single Player Only Mod for Half-Life 2 and you will be able to play as Xonxt (Alien Slave), Kate and Barney.
The timeline will be during the 7 hours war (Combine invasion).

No release date is set yet and, with the exception of the story, we didn't start working on it yet.

The recent update of Steam/ Half-Life fixed the problems that were preventing POV from being played on Steam.
You can now play POV using Steam!

The changes on the engine affected more then POV and other SP mods, it affect HL Single Player also.

Valve will be fixing the bugs and problems in Steam/ Half-Life version 1.1.2.0 and hopefully soon or later it will be possible to run POV on Half-Life version 1.1.2.0.

Meanwhile, if you want to play POV, play it on the version you had before installing Steam.

The recently released Half-Life version 1.1.2.0 that comes with Steam haves allot of changes to the Half-Life engine that are not allowing POV to run properly anymore.

If you want to be able to play POV keep the version you have of Half-Life when installing/updating to Steam and play POV on the version you had before Steam (I did that and works).

If you already installed Steam and removed the old version, then install Half-Life in a new directory, update it to version 1.1.1.0 and install and play POV using that install.

No patch is planned to move POV to Half-Life version 1.1.2.0. It is simply not possible to do a move every time that Valve releases a new version of Half-Life that breaks the compatibility between the new version and the older versions.

Just added a patch to the downloads page that replaces the player's Alien Slave hand model of POV with a alternative version that is more true to the NPC Alien Slave model.
