I'm DUTCH,
so I write my walkthrough's mostly in the Dutch Language.
But, one of the makers of Azure Sheep (DAV) asked me if I
could try to translate my Dutch Azure Sheep Walkthrough
into English. Well, I'm not one who runs away from a
challenge, so here it is. I hope it's readable English.

get this out of the way first:
You
may use this walkthrough to help you play the game and you
may put it on your own site. If you do so, please keep my
name, URL and e-mail address on the walkthrough.
I
could mention that all of my work is protected by
copyright, but what's the use…..I have neither the time
or the resources to start legal action against anyone who
violate this copyright. I can only hope that you are not
one off those people who would passes someone else's work
for his one by putting your name as the writer of this
walkthrough on this document and then put it on your site.
Believe
me, there are a lot of such people who do this.

About
this walkthrough
|
This
is not a strategy guide, but a complete WALKTHROUGH
through the game.
I
will give you the right way through the game and will try
to tell you where you can find Weapons, Ammo and the
Health Terminals. It is entirely possible that I have
missed some of them. So, always break every crate or box
that you will find along the way, and check out every room
that you enter. Also be on the lookout for Med Kits. From
the moment that you'll have found Kate, you'll need to
pick up the reddish Health Packs to. Because those will
heal Kate.
YOU,
and you alone, must decide what the best strategy is, FOR
YOU, to defeat all the enemies and all the booby traps,
that you will encounter on your search for Kate.
I
assume that you know how to play Half Life and are
familiar with the keyboard controls.
If
you want to CHEAT, well, all the Cheat codes from the
original Half Life will work in Azure Sheep to.
By
the way, all the AI's (Aliens and the soldiers) will move
about through the sections of the game. It means that
there's a big change that you will not always encounter
them on the exact same spot as I tell you in this
walkthrough. It depends on how fast you move about through
the game. Don't worry about this. I have played the game
through again using this, my own, walkthrough to the
letter and I could finished the game, so I guess this
walkthrough is pretty accurate.

About the
game
|
Azure
Sheep is an Single player MOD for Half Life. Let me tell
you that it is about the size of Half Life Blue
Shift, but it's far better then Blue
Shift. I personally regard Half Life Blue
Shift as a complete failure of Valve/Gearbox and I
always wandered why Sierra allowed this game to come out..
Azure Sheep is for FREE.
You
need the Original Half Life game installed and you'll need,
at least, the Half Life Update 1.1.0.8 because otherwise
this MOD won't work. You can get the update 1108 or up
from various sources but you can always try the official
Half Life site, Sierra,
File Planet
or Multiplayer.it.
Azure Sheep will also work with the High Definition Pack
for the Original Half Life but then you still need, at
least, Update 1.1.0.8.
After
de CREDITS, the game starts in your sleeping quarters in
one of the buildings of the Black Mesa Complex. From now
on you are Barney, a security guard, and your duty station
is at one of the gates of the Black Mesa Complex.
For
the first time in a Half Life game we will see female
guards as well and one of these female guards is your
sweetheart. Her name is Kate. After Gordon Freeman has
started the troubles, it is your goal to escape the Black
Mesa Complex, with Kate, alive. Kate, however, works in a
different section of the Black Mesa Complex. So, the first
thing to do is to find Kate.

Walkthrough

Work; Work
|
|
You
wake up because of the noise from your roommate and the
noise of your "alarm clock". It is eight a clock
in the morning and it is time to begin your duty shift.
You are standing in front of your bed. Turn Left and go to
your closet. It's already open. Get your Gun, Helmet and
Vest out of the closet. Turn around en walk through the
room to the door. Leave your room and now you are in a
corridor. Go Left, Right, passed the man's toilet, and go
up the ramp. Follow the corridor to the Left (just follow
the Exit Signs). The corridor goes Right, Right and then
down the stairs and then you go through the double red
doors and you are outside. A cut scene starts: you say
good morning to the other Barney at the gate and then you
go through the door and enter the Guard House at the gate.
You have control over the game again.
Turn
Left and walk to the windows with the consoles in front of
it. Right now you have the company of a male and a female colleague
and both are not very talkative. At this point you can not
do anything. Just stand still in front of the windows and
look through them to the outside. Just keep looking
through the windows and, after a few moments, Gordon
Freeman will arrive at the gate in his flashing red sports car.
Freeman checks in at your colleague at the gate and then
drives on and goes inside the tunnel. He's in a hurry
because he's late for his duty shift. Your screen turns to
BLACK and there's a LOADING.
It's
a few hours later and you are still at your post in the
guardhouse at the gate. You're alone now. Still you can
not do anything, not even leave your post. Just wait for
the things that are about to happen. Suddenly you hear
gunfire and you'll see your colleague, outside, take a few
steps forward and then he's looking up to the sky. Two
helicopters appear and they fly over and disappear again.
Gordon Freeman has just triggered the Cascade Disaster and
the soldiers are being flew in to clean up the mess.
Moments after the two helicopters have disappear, one of
those alien "Bats" flies over. Then one of the
helicopters returns and it starts to descend behind the
rock, goes up again and then it explodes in the air and it
crashes in front of your guard house, killing the guard
outside. THE FUN HAS STARTED!!!
Pull
out your gun, turn around and go outside and go, Right, to
the front of the guard house. Kill the two Alien Slaves
who teleported in and then go towards the gate and pick up
the gun from your dead colleague. Then turn around and go
back to the side of the guard house and the stairs and
pick up an other gun from the ground. Then go back into
the main building, through the double red doors at the top
of the stairs. When you have entered through the double
red doors, follow the stairs up again and when you're
almost at the top of these stairs, you'll see a cut scene
with Kate in a parking garage. Follow the stairs to the
top, pick up some ammo from the two dead guards and kill
the Alien Slave in the corridor and then go Left (to the
right is the ramp going down to the corridor with the
men's toilet) and Left again into a small stock room. Kill
the Headcrab here an use the Health Terminal.
Go
back outside and turn Right and go down the Ramp. Now you
are back at your starting point by the Men's Toilet. In
front of you, 2 Alien Slaves are teleported in. Kill them.
You then could go either Left or go straight ahead. In
fact, this corridor goes round. Go Left and then Right
through the D-AL-102 door in this corridor. This is your
room. Your roommate is lying dead on the floor. Get his Ammo clip,
you'll need it badly. Go out again. Go Left and Right
again and go into the Men's Toilet. At the back you can
kill two Mutants and pick up some ammo. Go back out and
Right and follow the corridor again and, past the Ladies
Toilet, it takes a Left Turn. The room in de corner, room
D-AL-300, has a corpse and an Headcrab but no ammo. Go
into the first room, room D-AL-201 on your Right. Jump
over the fallen closet and get some ammo from the beds. Go
out again and follow the corridor to the Right. At the end
you can go to the Right and to the Left. First turn Right
and kill the Mutant at the soft drinks machines and then
go into room D-AL-203, in front of the soft drinks
machines, for some ammo. Go out again and go Left through
the corridor again. Almost at the end, past room
D-AL-2001, the Left turn will take you back into the
corridor where your room is and you don't want to go
there, so go straight ahead and then Left through the
Green/Blue Metallic Door. Go Right and go up the stone
stairs. LOADING.
After
the LOADING, follow the stone stairs to the top and you'll
be in a short corridor with an open elevator shaft at the
very end. You don't want to fall into this elevator shaft,
so go through the Green/Blue Metallic Door at your Left.
You're in a corridor with tiles on the floor and with
wooden panels on the walls. Follow this corridor and
you'll come at a crossing. Kill the Houndeys here. There are
4 or 5 of them and some of them will run away and then
come back again. Then follow the corridor STRAIGTH ahead
to the next crossing. Go Left and then Right through the
"Target Range Access" door. Follow this corridor
to the Weapons room. Get all the ammo from the counter and
then go through the wooden door at the back. Follow the
small corridor and at the back, go Left through the wooden
door and you are at the back of the SHOOTING RANGE, behind
the Targets. Go to the corpse lying on the floor and pick
up the Hand grenades. As you do so, Alien Slaves will beam
in at the frond of the shooting range. Go back through the
wooden door and follow the small corridor back to the weapons
room. Kill the 2 Alien Slaves and then go through the door
in the right wall to enter the Shooting Range. Kill the 2 Alien
Slaves and pick up some ammo. Go back into the corridor
and follow it back through the "Target Range
access" door into the main corridor. Follow this to
the Right and, almost at the end, go Left through the gray
metallic door into the "Cafeteria". Kill the
Mutant and pick up some ammo, then go down the stairs,
kill the Headcrabs and pick up some more ammo. Go back
through the gray metallic door into the main corridor and
follow it further to the Left. Go straight ahead through
the next gray metallic door marked as
"Restroom". Follow this corridor. It goes Left,
Left and after the LOADING you'll enter the big restroom.
Go down the stairs and behind the green sofa and pick up
the SHOTGUN from the floor and also a few Hand grenades
and some Ammo. Quick, kill the 4 Alien Slaves who enter.
Then go back up the stairs and leave the restroom on the
right side. Follow the corridor. After the LOADING you go
through the gray metallic door and you are back in the
main corridor.
Go
straight ahead and almost at the end of the corridor there
are small stairs at your right, going down. Go down this
small stairs into the Billiard Room. Pick up de Billiard
Stick from the floor. Now you have something to break the
crates with. Go back up into the main corridor and go
Right and Left again. In front of you is the section of
the corridor where you already went through, but you go
through it again, but now al the way to the end. There the
corridor takes a Right turn and then again a Right turn
and then there will be a LOADING.
After
the Loading the corridor goes Right and then Left again.
Then there is a gray door on your left. Go through it and
you'll be in a kind of play room with videogame machines.
There's a body lying on the floor where you can pickup
some ammo and also a Health Pack at the back. Go back to
the corridor and follow it further to the Left and kill a
few Houndeys. The door at the end is closed, but there's a
retinal scanner on the Right wall. Stand in front of the
retinal scanner and push your USE key and wait for the
sound of the door opening. Go through the door and follow
the corridor and you'll end up in an elevator. The
elevator is out of order, but there's a hatch in the floor
of the elevator and through this hatch you can reach the
ladder going down. Climb down this ladder to the bottom of
the elevator shaft and then go through the open elevator
shaft doors into a narrow corridor. Follow it to the left,
kill the Headcrab, and go through the iron door at the
end. You're now in a large cellar. WATCH IT: a Mutant
Scientist will come towards you from the left and 2 of
them are coming from the right. Also there are Barnacles
hanging from the ceiling. Quickly kill the Mutants and
then the first few Barnacles on the left. Go that way to
the left corner, behind the barrels, and go through the
iron door. Follow the corridor, it takes a couple of right
turns and then there's a LOADING.

I'm
coming Kate
|
|
The
corridor goes Left and will bring you to an iron door.
SAVE GAME. When you go through this iron door you will
encounter your first few soldiers, and they are not
friendly..
So,
be ready to through a couple of hand grenades, and then go
through the door. You're in a short tunnel and to the
Right it's a dead end. Turn Left. A jeep is standing in
the tunnel and there are 2 soldiers who start shooting at
you. Kill them and collect there ammo and weapons. Go
through the tunnel and over the bridge into the next
tunnel. Go, towards to the YP truck. As you approach the
YP, the back of it goes open and two soldiers will fire at
you. Kill them and then climb into the YP truck for some
ammo. Leave it and follow the tunnel further, but, passed
the YP stay at the Right side but not against the wall.
Passed the YP, the tunnel takes a right turn and then you
come to a big army truck. Be sure to stand directly behind
this truck and SAVE GAME here.
Past
the truck, the tunnel comes to a dead end and there is a
TURRET at the back wall and if you're not keeping the
truck between you and that Turret, you will die. There's
now way that you could disable the Turret. Fortunately,
there is an Iron door, in the right wall, between the front side
of the truck and that Turret. You need to go through that
door, but the only way to reach that door is to take a
chance.
So,
you just have to chance it here. I hope your Health is
100%. You'll need to RUN passed the Truck at the RIGHT
SIDE of it, towards the Turret and then go through that
door in the right wall. If you're quick enough you should
make it just in time, but you will take a lot off damage.
If you having difficulties here, then use the GOD CHEAT or
the NO TARGET CHEAT.
In
any case, behind the door you'll be in a little cellar. Go
forwards and kill the Headcrab, then go Left and go to the
back of the cellar and use the Health Terminal on the
left. The door, at the Right of the Health Terminal, is
locked, so look to the Left Wall by the Health Terminal.
There is an ventilation shaft in the left wall and the
grate is already out of it. Put on your flashlight and
then climb into this shaft and follow it. The shaft goes
Left. Jump down at the end into a lower shaft, turn
around, crouch and follow this lower shaft. About halfway
there will be a LOADING.
After
this LOADING, the shaft goes Left again an it ends at an
grate. Break the grate an crouch through the opening.
STOP. You are now standing on an iron walkway in a big
square shaft. It's a vertical shaft. Please, don't fall
down. Right in front of you, you'll see a red ladder. Go
left over the walkway to that ladder and climb it all the
way up. The hatch, above your head, is closed. Bang your
head against the hatch and it will go open. Climb out, but
be very careful. You're high up above Black Mesa on the
cliffs now and this is the very "edge" of the
game. When you fell down, than it's GAME OVER.
Turn
around en go across the grates to the rock wall. Pick up
some Med Kits and then go Left and follow the tiled ledge
to a red fence. Turn Right and kill the soldier, who is
standing in front of the iron door, at the end of the
short tunnel. Get his ammo. The door is locked, so turn
around and go back to the ledge. Go Right and follow the,
now narrow, ledge. After the corner you see a familiar
object against the rock wall. If you have played the
original Half Life game, then you recognize these big
pipes. Be on your guard, because passed these big pipes,
is a Turret. Walk slowly further over the ledge until you
just can see that Turret in the distance. Try to disable
it with a few shots from the shotgun before it spots you.
It's no use trying to run forwards towards the Turret,
that's not the way to survive this turret. When you have
disabled the Turret, then go to the end of the ledge where
the turret was and climb up the ladder to a higher ledge.
Follow this ledge to the Right an at the end, climb down
the short ladder to the ledge beneath you. Follow this
round the corner and then all the way to the ladder at the
end. (beneath you, you'll see that big hatch where you
came out of the big shaft).
Climb
up the ladder, break the grate, kill the Headcrab and
crawl into the ventilation shaft. Put on your flashlight.
Follow this shaft, left turn, crouch and go on, left turn,
kill Headcrab, right turn and break the grate at the end
of this shaft. Jump out of the shaft to the floor of the
stone corridor. Go Left through this corridor (the door on
the right is locked). Then the corridor takes a left turn.
Kill the Beast at the iron door. This door is locked also,
so follow the corridor witch takes a right turn now.
Ignore the little stockroom at the right, it's empty. The
corridor goes on and it takes a right turn again and then
a left turn and it brings you in a room with a canal. In
the right corner, on your side of this room, a machine is
working. You need to go into the corridor across the
canal, but it's guarded by two Turrets. So, figure out a
way to disable these 2 Turrets without being killed by
them. Cross the canal and go into that corridor. Follow it
and it will bring you to an iron door. This door is
locked, so turn to the right wall and break the grate en
crawl into the ventilation shaft. Follow it, drop down
after a short bit, turn around, crouch and follow this
lower shaft to the end. Again, break through the grate
and…STAY..and..look….
This
ventilation shaft comes out into an wide, square vertical
shaft. It goes up and it goes down. Against the shaft wall
across, you see a ladder. This ladder goes up to a
platform with a door. That door is locked. I know, because
I tried it. You can not reach the ladder anyway, so don't
try it. Look down. Beneath you, you'll see an other
platform and beneath that platform the shaft becomes
narrow and it ends in a square hole.
Well,
don't hesitate, just jump down and try to 'Glide"
into that square hole at the bottom of the shaft. You'll
probably land on that lower platform. If you do, just jump
down again and you will go through the square hole and
land at the bottom. Crouch en crawl a little bit forwards
and break the grate and crawl out of the shaft. Again you
are in a narrow stone corridor, this one has purple tiles
on the floor. Follow it to the left. LOADING:
After
this loading, the corridor takes a right turn and it ends
at an iron door. This one isn't locked, so go through it
and then up the stone stairs an you'll come outside.
Oh….A tank an there's a Turret on the tank and it spots
you and it begins to fire at you. Quickly run to the Right
and go behind the barrels and crouch. The turret can't see
you now and it stops wasting his bullets. Go stand up and
from behind the barrels, shoot the Turret, on top of the
tank, down. Turn to the Left and run to the wall. Use the
Retinal Scanner to open up the door, beside the gate, and
go through it. You are now in a courtyard. Kill the 2
soldiers here, collect there ammo and go the left side of
the building, above the ramp. Open the door, and then STAY
inside the doorway.
There
are Barnacles hanging from the ceiling, and there is a
laser booby trap. You can disable the laser booby trap,
with a shot of your shotgun, from the relative safety of
the doorway and the explosion will also disable almost all
of the Barnacles, but not all of them. Then go forwards
and down the stairs. Use the Health Terminal at the bottom
of the stairs and then go Right. Kill the remaining
Barnacle and then go Left into the corridor. This corridor
goes Left, Right. Stop directly after the right turn.
Again…Lasers.
The
corridor brings you into the train tunnel, but there are 2
turrets at the beginning of the tunnel and they are activated
by the lasers. The first Turret is directly in front of
you, but the second one is further to the Right and you
can not see it. Well, again, there's no easy way here. So,
take a deep breath and RUN through the laser beams and
start shooting at the Turret in front of you to disable
it. When you reach this turret, turn quickly to the Right
and quickly, disable the second Turret. When you have
survive this, go break the crates here in search for
Health and ammo. If you are lucky you will find some.
Then
go on the train, start it and drive it, slowly, forwards
into the tunnel. Almost immediately there is a Laser Booby trap
in front of you. Disable it before you reach it and then
just drive the train, slowly, through the tunnel an
disable a few Booby traps while you go. At some point
during this, short, train ride, you will come at a
blockade of crates and on top of it there is a Turret. Go
at FULL SPEED and crouch and you will break through this
blockade and the Turret won't do you any harm. Passed this
blockade, there is a little platform at the left side.
Stop the train and go on this platform and get the ammo
from the barrel and the Med Kit also. Then drive the train
further down the tunnel and after a few more curves and a
couple of booby traps you will reach the end. Jump of the
train and onto the ledge and go to the Left side. Break
the crates, but you will only find some HEV. That's no use
to you now, because you do not have a HEV suit. So, go
through the iron door. Again you are in a corridor. Go a
little bit forward, then Left and go through the left door
into a little storage room. Use the Health Terminal here
and go back out into the corridor and follow it. It takes
a Right Turn and then there's a LOADING

Black
Mesa Entrance
|
|
After
this loading, the corridor takes a left turn and then it
will end at an red door. Watch it when you try to open
these kind of red doors. They surely opens towards you. Go
through this door and then follow the corridor to the
right and you will enter a staircase. For the English, you
are now on the first floor. Kill the "Beast"
under the stairs and then go up the stairs. The red door
on the second floor is locked. ( I'm Dutch, the English
Second floor is in Dutch the First floor, I hope you
understand) The guard at the other side will try to open
this door, but "no dice". Keep looking through
the door. The guard will hear a noise and he begins to
shoot and then walks away to the left and then you'll see
body parts from that guard flying by. Keep looking through
the door. A Grunt will appear behind the door, but fortunately
he can not open this door either. Go further up the stairs
to the third floor. Again a red door and this one will go
open.
I
strongly advise you not to go through this 3rd floor red
door. The blue corridor behind it has 2 very big Turrets,
hanging down from the ceiling, and you are not able to
disable them fast enough. Perhaps you could get the first
one, but then the second one is right around the corner
and that one will kill you for sure. You really do not
have a chance against those 2 turrets, only when you use
the GOD CHEAT or the NO TARGET CHEAT. It is really not
necessary to go through this 3e floor corridor.
It will bring you to a retinal scanner door and then into
an other corridor with a few Alien Slaves and all the
doors there are locked, except the Red "back"
door. This "back" door will bring you outside
into a courtyard. You can cross this courtyard and then
you'll come in a corridor that brings you to a glass
elevator. You could take this elevator up. But it is a
dangerous route and as I said, it's likely that you will
not survive the 2 Turrets. There is a less dangerous way
to reach the floor where that glass elevator would bring
you to.
Just
go up the stairs to the 4th floor, at the top of the
stairs, and there you go through the red door and follow
the light blue corridor, left and then 3 times right. The
corridor ends up wider and there is a door in the back
wall. Also there is a glass room to the right. In this
glass room you will meet a female guard. She's bending
down at the death body of an other guard. Get the gun
beside the corpse. This girl isn't Kate. You could ask her
to follow you, but she's really not much help. Push the
wall button to open up the door in the back wall, and then
go through that door and follow the new corridor. You come
at a crossing. Here you can go either to the left or to
the right.
The
left corridor will come to a dead end by a closed door and
there is absolutely nothing to find in that corridor. So,
go follow the right corridor, but first take out that
laser booby trap around the corner. When you follow this
right corridor, then you can go into 2 rooms. In the first
you will find some ammo and Hand grenades, and in the
second, after the second laser booby trap, you can kill a
Mutant. Here the corridor goes to the left and there is a
staircase going up. This section is protected by Red
Lasers. The red Lasers will trigger the 4 Turrets, that
are protecting the Stairs to the next floor. So, disable
the Turrets with a few well placed Hand grenades and then
go into this section of the corridor and then up the
stairs. (actually, if you do not go passed the stairs,
then you will be in that left corridor and then you could
go round again , but why do so)
On
top of the stairs, follow the corridor to the Left and
then to the gray security door at the end. If you had that
female guard follow you, this is where she will not go any
further, she will not follow you past this security door.
Go through the security door and you are outside, above
that courtyard where you would have been in if you had
follow the Turret corridor on the 3rd floor. You are
standing on an iron Ramp going up. Follow it and on top go
through the next gray security door. Follow the corridor,
it takes a right turn, kill the Alien Slaves. On your
right is that elevator that you would have taken up when
you had taken the 3rd floor route. Then you would have
come out of this elevator at this point.
Ignore
this elevator (you're were you want to be right now) and
just follow the corridor straight ahead. Passed the
elevator it takes a right turn, then a left turn, again a
left turn and then there is a LOADING
After
this loading the corridor takes a left turn again and then
there is a long straight section of the corridor in front
of you. So, go on and when you are halfway through this
straight section, the floor collapse and you fall down the
gap and land on the floor beneath you. You hear the sound
of an elevator coming up. Turn around and….sure ..a big
elevator platform is coming up and on it
stands…….Mister Gordon Freeman
all dressed up in his fancy HEV Suit.
If
you have played the Original Half Life game, then you know
where you are now. Freeman is about to enter that very big
warehouse, full with big crates at the end of the Half
Life chapter "Apprehension". There he has to
survive the attack of several Black Ops ladies and then
turn the red "Surface Access" switch, on top of
the walkway. Freeman is being captured and thrown into the
waste crusher. Now, here in Azure Sheep you are at this
point in the original Half Life game, when you meet Gordon
Freeman, and now it is your task to make sure that those
Black Ops ladies, in the warehouse, don't kill Gordon
Freeman. In fact, you must protect Freeman against those
Black Ops ladies, to make sure that he can go on with his
Half Life mission. How to do this?
Well,
you can just leave Freeman standing on the big elevator
platform and then go to the left into the warehouse
and there kill off all those 4 or 5 Black Ops ladies,
making sure that none of them creeps behind you and go to
Freeman on the elevator to kill him. Or, you could ask
(with your USE key) Freeman to follow you. Freeman will
lent you a hand by killing one or two of the Black Ops
Ladies. If you take Freeman with you, then you have a
problem keeping up with him. Freeman is moving a lot
faster and you will have a problem keeping up with him.
There's a big change then, that Freeman will be killed.
It's better to leave Freeman on the elevator and to try to
disable the Black Ops ladies on your own, as quickly as
you can. Keep in mind that if Gordon Freeman gets killed,
its GAME OVER.
So,
leave Gordon Freeman standing on the elevator and go to
the Left into the warehouse, kill all the Black Ops ladies
there. Just run like crazy between all the big crates and
then go op the iron ramp to the iron platform and then to
the Red "Surface Access" switch on the right of
the platform. As soon as you turn this switch, Gordon
Freeman will go through the "Surface Access"
door to go on with his Half Life game. When you have
turned the Red Wheel, go back down the ramp. 3 or 4
soldiers will appear. They have just captured Gordon
Freeman and now they are looking for you. You have to kill
them all, so again you go running between all the big
crates, trying to kill those soldiers and collecting there
ammo. When they are all dead then go through the
"Surface Access" corridor, follow , it takes a
Left turn and then you go right through the already open
door. This door will only be open when you have killed
those 3 soldiers in the warehouse first.
The
"Surface Access" corridor has brought you in a
small room with metallic crates. Fill up your health here
by the Health Terminal, then turn left and go through the
metal door in the left corner, behind the pile of crates.
You enter a corridor. Follow it, right, right, kill the 2
soldiers and then follow the corridor all the way to a
metal door at the back. Here the corridor takes a right
turn. There is absolutely no sense to follow this corridor
further to the right here. It will bring you nothing. The
"Surface Access" door is locked and the
"Hazardous Machinery" door will take you to a
dead end. There is, however, a Health Terminal at the end
of the corridor, just in front of the "Surface
Access" door, so if you are in need of Health….Go
through the iron door into a corridor with purple tiles on
the floor. It goes, left, left and then there's a LOADING.
After
the loading the corridor goes to the left and then there's
an "Exit" sign on the right wall. The corridor
takes a right turn here and ends at a door. Go through
this door and you're outside at a big building. Perhaps
you'll see the ADMINISTRATOR here go round this building.
This is the building that you saw at the beginning of the
game, in the cut scene with Kate in the parking lot. Go
straight on and then around the building to the right.
Kill the 2 soldiers and you will come at the front
entrance of this building. Go in and then, behind the
jeep, through the iron door. Follow the corridor, left,
right, right, right, up the stairs. In the short corridor
upstairs lies a dead scientist, to the left. All the doors
in this corridor are closed, except 2 of them. Behind the
dead Scientist you can go into the last room on the right.
It has 4 Alien Slaves in it. Kill them and then go back to
the dead Scientist and go into the little room on your
right. Here you'll find a Red Ladder going up, so climb up
this ladder and when you're on top, jump onto the iron
ledge on the right and go through the iron door. You're on
the roof now.
Go,
left or right, to the other side and there through the
"Maintenance Access" door. Turn to the left and
go down the Yellow Ladder in Shaft A. This is again a
ventilation shaft. At the bottom of this ladder, crawl
through the shaft to the next Yellow Ladder and again
climb down. This second ladder brings you into the big
Ventilation Tube and it's very "windy" here
because of the big fans. Walk around the ladder to the
back and go down the next ladder and then again the next
one. Now you're on the bottom "floor" of this
ventilation tube. Go left to the fence. The door in this
fence is locked, but fortunately, an Headcrab will break
through the ventilation grate. Kill the Headcrab and then
duck into this ventilation shaft. Put on your flashlight
and crawl through this shaft. Drop down, turn around, duck
and follow the shaft to the end. It's a very long shaft,
so keep crawling and about halfway you have to break
through a grate and then kill an Headcrab, but after a few
more left and right turns you will come to the end of this
shaft. Break through the grate and jump down into the
corridor. Immediately turn to the right.
On
the left wall of this corridor are Blue and Yellow Pipes
and further down this corridor you'll see a lot of
"dead" bodies. Slowly walk to the dead bodies
and…..when you almost at those bodies, a couple of them,
5 or 6, suddenly comes to life again. They are Mutants.
Kill them and then go on. Go through the door on your
right, almost at the end of this corridor, and then down
the short stairs. Pick up, some ammo from the 2 dead
soldiers and the go through the iron door on the right.
You're
in a big warehouse room with lots of big crates and to the
left a locked iron door and there is a square elevator
shaft in the floor with a kind of crane above it. First
break all the breakable crates here for some extra ammo
and then go to the wall behind the square elevator shaft.
Push the wall button. A big elevator platform will come
up. Push the button again and jump on to the platform and
ride it down. A Grunt is waiting for you at the bottom of
this elevator. Quickly, kill him and then go to the Right
to the army truck, climb into the back of this truck to
collect some ammo, jump out again, break the crates here
and then go and push the red button to the right of the
big doors. The door goes open, so go through it.
You're
now in a big tunnel, follow it. It takes a right turn and
it will bring you into the next tunnel. Wait before
entering this new tunnel. From the left, a couple of Alien
Slaves will come and the will disable the turrets on the
right. Then go in this new tunnel and kill the Slaves and
follow this tunnel, kill a Grunt an a Alien Slave and then
you'll come to an other big door. This one is locked, so
follow the tunnel to the right. There will be a LOADING.
After
the loading you'll see that the tunnel takes a turn to the
left, but just before that left curve you see an iron
door. Go through that door into a little room and collect
the ammo and fill up your health at the Health Terminal.
Go back into the tunnel and follow it round the left curve
to the next big door. Open this big door by pushing the
button and go through it into the next tunnel.
This
one has asphalt on the floor. Immediately you are attacked
by 3 soldiers from the left. Kill them, get there ammo and
climb into the back of that army truck, that's standing on
the right side. You will find some Med Kits and Hand grenades
in it. Then go follow this tunnel. It takes a right turn.
The next big door will go open automatically when you get
to it. You enter a parking lot that's full with jeeps and
with 5 soldiers in it. Kill them, collect there ammo and
then go into the next tunnel at the back.
This
tunnel takes 2 left turns and then there are a few parking
boxes on the left side and also 3 soldiers. Kill the
soldiers and then open up the last box, but perhaps it's
already open. In it is a yellow sports car but also a
Health Terminal, so fill up your health and then go
through the iron door at the back of the tunnel. Follow
the corridor and go through the double doors. A short
corridor that ends up in a larger room with red and white columns
on either side. Watch it before you enter this room. There
are 3 Turrets here, hanging from the ceiling. One of them
is directly in above the entrance and the other two are a
bit further down on each side of the room and you can not
see them directly. There's no way to avoid these turrets,
so you'll need to disable them quickly. First the one
that's directly above the entrance, then go in and either
to the right side or the left side of the room and try to
disable the turrets on that side from behind a pillar.
When you have survived these 3 turrets you'll come into a
short corridor at the back of this "turret"
room. The double metal doors at the end of this short
corridor is locked, but as soon as you have disabled those
3 Turret in the red and white column room, 3 soldiers will
enter through the corridor you came through. You'll need
to kill all 3 soldiers and then the double doors at the
back of the room will go open. Go through that door and
follow the blue tiled corridor. LOADING.

Walking
To Black Mesa Inbound
|
|
Follow
the corridor further and after a few turns you'll be in a
wider part with 3 big windows on the right and 2 very
hysteric Scientists. Through those big windows you see a
big part of the train tunnels. Go to the back and through
the opening, turn right and then down the short stone
stairs. Through the doors and you'll be on a platform.
Kill the 3 Houndeys here. From the corners of your eye's
you see a tank on a train comes by, from left to right.
You'll meet this tank later again almost at the end of
this chapter. Go down a short ladder, right in front of
the door you came through, to the lower platform. Turn
around and go into the corridor and follow it through. It
goes left and it will bring you into the next train
tunnel. Go round to the other side and kill a few Alien
Slaves while you go and also break a few crates. Go
through the little door, to the left of the big door with
the Half Life Logo on it. Follow the purple tiled
corridor, down the stairs, kill the Headcrab and the
Mutant and at the back of this corridor you go to the door
on the LEFT ( the "backdoor" is locked). Follow
this new corridor and after a few turns you'll enter the
next train tunnel. Cross the green tiled
"bridge" witch has a Scientist on it, and on the
other side, go into the corridor on the right. This one
goes down for the first bit, then it takes a right turn
and after a few more turns there will be a LOADING.
After
the loading you will then end up at a door….SAVE. Things
will get a little bit hectic, beyond this door. Go through
the door and IMMEDIATELY go to the right into the tunnel
that's going up. There are a lot of soldiers here, not
only on your side of this wide train tunnel but also on
the other side. Quickly run up this ramp tunnel and then
it goes to the left. You're now above the train tunnel on
a kind of walkway. Quickly kill the one soldier here,
who's standing in front of the door in the right wall
(that door will go open, but it only brings you to a dead
end in the train tunnel on the little platform from the
beginning of the Half Life Game "Blue Shift")
and then run to the back. The door here is locked, but you
are now above the other side of the train tunnel and from
here you have a good chance to kill all those soldiers
beneath you. When your done, then turn and go back down
through the ramp tunnel. Perhaps you'll need to kill 2
more soldiers before you are back down.
You
are back at the point where you entered this section
through the door at the end of the green tiled corridor.
It's now to your left. You'll need to go to the other side
of this train tunnel. There is a bridge, but it is retracted.
Look at the short back wall and you'll see a button in it
at the end of it. Push it and the bridge will roll out and
it connects your side with the other side. Cross this
bridge and on the other side there are a few doors. First
there is a door to the left, but that door is locked. Also
there is a small iron door, right in front of you behind
the pile of crates, and finely there is a big door with
the Half Life Logo on it all the way to the right, at the
end.
You
can open that big door by pushing the button there and
then you could go and follow the green tiled corridor. It
will bring you on a platform of an other train tunnel and
then you can go up a couple of ramps to a couple of other
platforms. you can kill a few soldiers and on the first of
these platforms is a door you could go through and then
you could follow and check out all the corridors behind
this door. All those corridors are connected with each
other and there are a lot of soldiers to kill and a Health
terminal to find and if you are lucky you eventually will
find the way out to the next section of the game. But most
likely you will wander around through these corridors for
hours and hours. There's a much quicker way to reach the
next section when you follow the next instructions.
What
you need to do is, after you have crossed this bridge, is
to go through the small iron door right in front of you,
behind the pile of crates. The short corridor that you
enter will take you to an elevator. Go in this elevator
and ride it up. Go out the elevator and then go into the
first LEFT corridor. This short corridor brings you to the
second elevator. Changes are that this elevator is already
here, if not, call it by pushing the button. Ride this
second elevator down and then go out and IMMEDIATELY go
LEFT and follow the corridor. This corridor has a few left
and right turns and then there is a LOADING in it, and
after this you come to a darker section of this corridor.
Here is a door in the left wall with a yellow sign next to
it. This yellow sign tells you that this is the B8 door.
Go
through this B8 door and follow the short corridor to the
back. You are now in a square END ROOM with a couple of
crate but also there are 2 metal barrels. Break the crates
and….see…a very deep shaft , right next of the two
metal barrels. A Yellow ladder is going down through this
deep shaft. So, climb down through this shaft and at the
bottom you'll be in a small room with, again, a few crates
and an Health Terminal. Break the crates and fill your
health by the Health Terminal and then go through the
door.
This
next section is a series of corridors and they all are
dead ends. There are a couple of doors in these corridors,
but most of them are locked. There is only one door that
will bring you into the next section of the game, but
before you get to that door, you'll need to kill a few
Black Ops ladies in these corridors.
Go
straight and then take the right turn. A Black Ops lady is
standing in front of you, but she runs away. Follow her
trough the corridor and off course you do your best to
kill her. It takes a left turn and then again a left turn
and then you go through an already open door and then you
go into the first right corridor. This is a short corridor
and it connects the corridor you came through with the
next long corridor. At the end of this short corridor, go
to the right and STOP. Probably there are 2 more Black Ops
ladies in front of you in this corridor and you'll see an
metal door, just ahead of you, in the left wall. That's
your way out of this dead end corridor section. So, you
could go straight trough that door now and go on with the
game, or you could first go on and kill those 2 Black Ops
ladies and then go through this door. It's up to you.
When
you go through that door then you'll enter a little office
room. To the right in this room, is a "wooden"
door. Open this door, but stay in de doorway, do not go
through it immediately. This door brings you into a large
warehouse and this warehouse is divided into two section
by the train rails. From the other side soldiers will fire
at you and also there are Barnacles hanging on the
ceiling. A few of those soldiers will be killed by the
Barnacles, but you must kill the remaining soldiers. So,
stay in the "wooden" door and then kill the
Barnacles at your side of this warehouse, and then run
forwards, down the ramp to the floor of the warehouse.
Push the button on the right wall to bring down the
bridge, cross it to the other side, kill soldiers and
Barnacles, collect ammo, break crates and then go to the
door in the right corner and go through it.
Go
Left (to the right will bring you to a Black Ops lady and
then in a dead end office) and you come into a short
corridor. To the right is a "spitting Beast" in
front of a door. Kill it and then turn around and go
through the CN door. Follow the "marble"
corridor and after a few turns you go up the stone stairs,
kill Headcrab and follow the "marble" corridor
again and then after a few more turns it become dangerous
again.
The
"marble" corridor will bring you in two wider
rooms with big windows on the left side. Through this
windows you'll see the train tunnel and from the other
side soldiers will fire at you when you go through these
two rooms. The two rooms are connected by a Retinal
Scanner door. You need to go through these two rooms, but
when you do, you are directly in the line of fire from
those soldiers on the other side of the train tunnel.
There are crates and barrels in both rooms that you can
break, but I doubt that you have the chance to do so. Of
course you could use those crates and barrels to take
cover behind it and then try to take out those soldiers,
but I really don't think that it's an option. It is
possible to run through this 2 rooms, without being hit or
even without being spotted by the soldiers, but only if
you are really fast.
So,
take a deep breath at the end of the "marble" corridor
and try to make sure that those soldiers don't spot you
before your halfway through the first of these 2 rooms.
Run straight through the first room to the Retina Scanner
door at the back, use the Retinal Scanner and go through
the door and run, run, run through the second room and go
into the corridor at the back. Your safe for a moment
here, but your health will probably be low now. Well, what
the heck, life is full of dangers, so don't worry about
it. Follow the corridor and after a few turn there will be
a LOADING.
After
this loading you go through the next iron door. Kill the
Grunt and then climb down the yellow ladder, behind the
blue crates. This yellow ladder brings you onto the
asphalt floor of the big road tunnel. Several Alien Slaves
will teleport in and there are 2 army trucks standing
here. Kill the Slaves and then go follow the tunnel to the
right. It's a big wide and long tunnel and it takes a
right turn, then a left turn and then there is a long
straight section in front of you. Go on and then go into
the first left turn you come to. This will bring you to a
big door, open it by pushing the button on the right wall,
and go through it and you're in an outside area.
It's
a dead end area, but you can have some fun here. To the
right is an army truck and there you can collect some ammo
when you climb into the back of it. In front of this army
truck is an SAM Rocket installation. You can play with it
a bit and fire rockets at that osprey that keeps flying
round above you. From this osprey,
soldiers keep coming down on ropes and you can fire the
SAM rockets at them. You can not damage the osprey,
but you can have a lot of fun. This goes on forever and
ever. Keep in mind that you can get killed here, so if you
want to have the best out of this, go in GOD mode.
When
you are tired of playing around here, then go back through
the big door into the tunnel and follow the main tunnel
again to the left. It takes another right turn and there's
an other army truck with 2 soldiers, so kill them quickly.
Passed this army truck the tunnel takes again a right turn
and then goes up and then you'll see the end of the
tunnel. The tunnel ends at a "Half Life" door
and it's closed. But just before the end of the tunnel
there is an other left turn. You'll need to go in there
but before you do so SAVE GAME and as you do so STAY
AGAINST THE RIGHT WALL.
This
last left turn will bring you in a kind of warehouse. In
fact it's a section of the train tunnels and it's full
with piles of big containers. On the rail there is a tank
on a train behind the containers to the right. It's the
same tank you saw earlier come by in the train tunnel
section. You don't want to be in the line of fire from
this tank. Also there are a couple of Black Ops ladies
onto and between the containers. You'll need to cross this
warehouse all the way to the right and there go through
the iron door in the right wall.
So,
when you are almost at the end of the big tunnel, go in
the left turn and shuffle yourself against the right wall.
On the Red Container, straight ahead, is one of the 4 or 5
Black Ops ladies. Quickly, kill her as you move towards
that red container. Then go to the Right into the
"alley" between the red containers. Run, run, run
through this "alley" all the way to the back.
The Containers will cover you from that Tank on the Train,
but not all the way and during your run through this
"alley" you'll need to finish off a couple of
more Black Ops Ladies, so you will take some damage. When
you reach the end of the "alley" you'll see an
iron door in the wall in front of you. It's between the 2
Red Containers. Run to that door, open it and go through
and you're safe. Follow the green/blue tiled corridor and
after a few turns there is a LOADING.
Then
you come at a stone stair. Wait, the stairs is protected
by a blue laser booby trap. Get the ammo from the barrels
first and then shoot the blue laser to disable it, before
you go up the stairs. Then go up the stairs and then
through the door on top. You're in a short metallic
corridor. Go through the next door at the end. It will
bring you in a kind of trapezoid shape corridor. It's a
wide corridor. The big metal door on the left is locked,
so go follow this corridor to the right and it will take a
right turn. STOP before this right turn. Around this
corner there are 2 TURRETS and they will kill you. So,
before you go round the corner, throw a couple of Hand grenades
to disable those turrets. Then go around this corner and
the corridor ends at a big metal door. Push the Red Button
on the right to open it up and go through. You enter an
other part of the train tunnel system and straight ahead
of you is an barrier. You could crawl underneath it and
then go to the other side to the body for some ammo.
Follow this train tunnel to the right to the next trapezoid
shape corridor.
When
you're almost there, 3 Alien Slaves will teleport in. Kill
them and then go into the corridor and follow it through.
It ends at 2 big metal doors. When you're almost at those
doors, your screen begins to tremble and you hear noises
behind you. Go back a bit and see…..the entrance of this
corridor is now blocked and there's no turning back into
the train tunnel. So return to the big metal doors at the
end and push the button on the left. An elevator comes up.
Go in it, push the button and ride it down. Go out the
elevator and follow the tunnel. You come up at a right
turn and beyond that stands an army truck in this tunnel
with on it a TURRET and also there is a TURRET next of
this truck. A few well placed hand grenades will deal with
them. Then climb into the back of the truck for some ammo.
Climb back out and go passed the truck to the back and
then through the small metal door on the left. You are in
a small room and to the left are 2 big Orange Pipes going
up.
Turn
to the right and climb up the ladder to the platform above
you and then climb all the ladders until you are all the
way up on the top platform. While you climb these ladders
you'll have to kill a few Alien Slaves. When you are on
the top platform, go into the narrow metal corridor on the
left. It's a short corridor and it will bring you to an
"Hazardous Machinery" door. Go through it, kill
the 2 soldiers and go to the back. Go down the stairs,
perhaps you'll need to kill 2 more soldiers, and when
you're at the bottom of the stairs, turn to the right and
then walk on until you can go to the left, between the two
big machines, to an "Authorized Personnel" door
in the opposite wall. You could go through this door and
then follow the corridor behind it, but it will bring you
only to an dead end. So when you at this door stand in
front of it and turn to the right. You'll spot an broken
Orange Pipe, in the left back corner. Go to it and turn on
your flashlight. Jump into the PIPE that's going into the
floor, duck and then crawl through this very long pipe.
After a turn there's a LOADING.
Keep
following the pipe, as I said it's a very long pipe, and
after a few more turns you'll come into a lighter part of
this pipe. When you crawl further through this part, it
will break of and goes down and it connects to an iron
platform. Crawl out of the pipe and you will be on this
metal platform. Turn to the right and go to the big metal
door with the body in front of it. The door won't go open.
Take a few steps back and then look at this door again. On
both sides you'll see a kind of grate. Behind those grates
are ventilation shafts. Go to the right side of this
platform and take a good look at the grate on the right
side of the big door. There's a crack in this grate. Shoot
this grate down and the entrance of the ventilation shaft
is now visible. You'll need to go in it, but it's ,
however, to far away to attempt a direct jump. SAVE GAME
FIRST.
If
you look again to this ventilation shaft you'll notice a
square metal beam (it's an broken piece of a ventilation
shaft) in front of it. From the platform, perform a
RUNNING JUMP onto this square metal beam, then walk over
it to the right, around the corner but not all the way to
the end. Duck and you'll walk right into the ventilation
shaft. You will probably need to repeat this several times
to get it right. I didn't succeeded so I used the NO CLIP
CHEAT here to get into this ventilation shaft. But that's
tricky to because it could cause the game to crash.
Perhaps it's better to jump onto the railing of the
platform first and then try to jump onto that beam
When
you finally are in this shaft, follow it to the back. Drop
down through the grate in the floor of the shaft and
during your drop you'll break through another grate and
you'll end up at the bottom of this vertical shaft an into
an other horizontal shaft. Crawl to the back and STOP.
Here there is an other vertical shaft going down. LOOK
DOWN this shaft. A little bit down you see that it has an
grate in it and just above this grate you'll see the next
vertical shaft, to the right, where you need to go into.
(it's that ledge) You must not fall down through the grate
because then you will end up at the bottom of this
vertical shaft and there's no way out of it. What to do?
First SAVE GAME. Then crawl ahead and you drop down into
the vertical shaft. As soon as you begin to drop down
IMMEDIATELY PUSH YOUR RIGHT ARROW KEY and you shout end up
in that vertical shaft just above the grate. Crawl through
it and after the first 2 turn, kill the Headcrab and then
this shaft comes to a DEAD END. Fortunately, there is a
new shaft on the left a little bit back and the grate of
it is already down, so crawl in it and follow it and after
the first turn there will be a LOADING

Crawl
further through the ventilation shaft and after a few
turns drop down again through a grate. You'll land into a
purple tiled floor corridor. Go left, because to the right
it's a dead end. You'll come to an elevator, but it is out
of order, so go on through the corridor witch takes a
right turn and then you go through a door. This door
brings you into the next corridor. Immediately turn left
and kill the soldier. This is a very long corridor and
it's going all the way round and eventually it will bring
you back here. There are several fences in this corridor
and you can go through 2 of them. I will give you the
quickest way through this corridor to the next section of
the game.
After
you have killed that soldier, turn back and follow this
corridor to the right. It takes a left turn. Kill soldier
and then the corridor goes left again and then it takes a
right turn. Do not follow the corridor any further, but
when it takes that right turn, go LEFT through fence LS-78
. Cross the room behind this fence to the back and heal
yourself at the Health Terminal and then go down the slope
on the right side. There are a few cages here an in it are
Mutants. When you're feeling very "Murderess" go
and kill them all, otherwise leave them alone to save your
ammo. Go to the Big Door, push the door button and go
through. Follow the purple tiled corridor to the back
where it takes a right turn. Run to the back while
avoiding the fire of those 2 Turrets and disable them. Get
the ammo and then go to the left into the next corridor.
Go through the small door ahead of you. The sign by this
door says "Lab Cages Medium Security". All the
RED SECURITY DOORS HERE ARE LOCKED. Follow the narrow
corridor and at the back go through the next door. Go down
the steps all the way down and then follow the corridor
further. There will be a LOADING
Go
through the next door and then follow the wider corridor
to the left. It takes a left turn, then a right turn and
then you come to a crossing. To the left is a dead end and
also straight ahead is a dead end, so go to the right and
kill the 3 soldiers and walk to the back. Here there are 3
very big doors, one to the left, one to the right and one
right in front of you. Open up the door right in front of
you and step into the "garage". There's an army
truck in here. Go to the left of this truck and there is a
ladder. Climb up this ladder and when you are up, go
through the door on the right. You enter a purple tiled
corridor again. Go Left, kill soldier and follow this
corridor, left again, straight ahead and after the next
curve you'll see the "EXIT" door. Well, you need
to go through this "EXIT" door, but you could
first go check out the rest of this corridor and then go
through all the doors and check out all the rooms here.
All those rooms are connected, and you can find ammo in
some of them and kill more soldier. Then go back in to the
corridor and find that "EXIT" door again and go
through it.
It
will bring you at an elevator, on the left. Push the
button to call the elevator…..Bang Bang…the doors go
open, but there's no elevator. Look down the elevator
shaft and you'll see the elevator hanging on the floor
beneath you. Well, you can not jump down to land on top of
it, it's to far down and you will get kill by the fall.
You cannot reach that long Yellow Ladder at the back wall
of this elevator shaft either. The cables are in the way.
Look to the side walls of this elevator shaft. There are
small ledges at both side walls. So you'll need to jump
down and first land onto one of those ledges on either the
right or the left wall. Then you go jump further down to
land onto the elevator without taking in to much damage.
Turn around and climb into the corridor and then go to
that Barney. To the right of him is a Retinal Scanner
door. Be nice to this Barney and make him open up this
door for you. You can't. Then go through it and you are in
a RED CORRIDOR, Go follow it and while you do there will
be a LOADING.
At
the end of this red corridor you go through the door and
you are in a second RED corridor. Well you just need to
cross this second red corridor, but there are several
doors in it, some on the left side and some on the right
side and they all have a number. Some of those doors will
go open and will bring you into a kind of laboratory.
These laboratories are all dead ends but you might find
some ammo in them.
So,
go follow this second RED corridor (it's a long way) and
passed the first door it takes a right turn and then,
passed door HS-87, it takes a left turn, then a left turn
again and passed door HS-32 the corridor takes another
right turn. Go passed door HS-83 and then go through door
HS-14. Go to the end of this small corridor, kill the
soldier and get some Health from the Health Terminal and
then go back to the red corridor, but do not enter it yet.
There's a fight going on in the corridor between a few
soldiers and 2 Grunts. Wait until the Grunts have wiped
out the soldiers and then go and kill the Grunts. Then
follow the Red corridor again to the left. Again it takes
a right turn and when you have passed door HS-59, the
corridor goes again to the right, then left and passed
door HS-23 the corridor goes again to the right. You'll
see a Scientist being smashed into the wall by a Grunt .
Kill the Grunt and follow the red corridor again and then,
after a couple of left turns there is a Retinal Scanner
door on your left. You can not open this door, but the scientist
behind it will do that for you. Go through into the room,
turn Left and go to the back and climb down the long
Yellow ladder to the bottom This ladder will bring you
into a small corridor, kill a Mutant and go through the
door. Again a corridor. To the right it's a dead end, so
go to the left and then left again and put on your
flashlight and go through this dark section of the
corridor. LOADING.

Kate
to the Rescue
|
|
This
dark corridor goes to the right and then you go through a
door. There is an elevator, but it's out of order, so go
to the Retinal Scanner door and use the Retinal Scanner to
open it. Go through it and, again, you are in a RED
corridor. Follow it through. After a few turns you'll come
into the last part of this corridor. There are 3 short
side corridors with doors, on the right side, and there is
a door in the back. Alien Slaves teleport in here, so kill
them, and then walk to the back and take the last right
turn an go through the door. The door will close behind
you and it won't go open anymore. The other door in front
of you (it has a window) will not go open either. Through
that window you'll see the ADMINISTRATOR and he's looking
at YOU. You're TRAPPED. The ADMINISTRATOR will let gas
into the hallway you're trapped in and you passed out.
When
you come by your senses again, your in a kind of TANK,
floating in a some sort of liquid. You'll see 2 other
Tanks and in both of them floats a scientist. Also you see
the control room, high up, and there you'll see the
ADMINISTRATOR with two Black Ops Ladies. The Black Ops are
forcing the scientists over there to perform there
experiments on you and the 2 scientists in the other
Tanks. After a while the ADMINISTRATOR leaves and then a
FEMALE GUARD enters it. This Female Guard kills the two
Black Ops ladies and she orders the scientists to release
you out of the tank. This female guard is KATE. You have finally
found her.
You
get control over the game again. You're out of the tank.
Go to the left and them through the door. Turn right and
go up the stairs and then through the door. Turn right and
through the next door on the right. You're now in that control
room. Give Kate a big kiss.
Well, you
Let
me take a few moments to explain Kate to you. From this
moment on, you go on as a couple. You'll need to take Kate
with you, but in order to do so, you need to ACTIVATE
Kate. You can not control Kate directly. To activate Kate,
just stand in front of her and push your "USE"
key (by default the "E" key) on your key board.
You'll hear Kate say all kinds of nonsense, but you need
her to say "Ok, let's go", then she will follow
you. When you go through doors, or after a LOADING, Kate usually
keep standing still. You then need to activate her again.
This could get pretty tiresome at some points. I won't
tell you this all the time, I assume you know this now.
Remember
that Kate can get killed also and if that happens, well,
it's GAME OVER. The Cheats don't apply on Kate, so even
when you use the God Cheat, it has no effect on Kate. You
will come in areas where Kate can not go through. Then you
have to leave Kate for a while. Kate will stay at the spot
where you left her. Not only can Kate get killed, but of
course she can get hurt. You'll need to be on the lookout
now for those Purple Med Kits, I will call them "Kate
Kits", because those will heal Kate. When you find
one and get it, then it will go into your weapons
inventory and when you need to heal Kate, just stand in
front of her and select a "Kate Kit" from your
weapons inventory and then use it. You will know if Kate
is hurt because then she goes on with a funny kind of
walk. One of those "Kate Kits" will boost Kate's
health up with 30 %.
For
the first part, after you have teamed up with Kate, you
won't have any weapons. Only Kate has a weapon, so the first
thing to do is to get your weapons back. Then you will get
a HEV-Suit as well and find the first "Kate
Kit". So, from that moment on, be on the lookout for
those Hev-Suit Upgrades. I don't know how your views are
regarding woman's lib, but if you think it's wise to
"let ladies go first" for the time being, at
least until you get your own weapons back, then your
mistaken. If you don't take the "lead", then
Kate will go off and run like crazy through the corridors
and she will certainly be killed. So always stay in front
of Kate, but don't let her get to far behind you.
Well,
let's go on with the "show" now:
Activate
Kate and then leave this control room into the corridor.
Go Left through the corridor and , after a few left and
right turns, it will bring you to an Retinal Scanner door.
You need Kate to use this Retinal Scanner to open up this
door. Then go through it and take a few steps forwards.
LOADING. After this loading, Kate will probably stay put
at that Retinal Scanner, so you'll need to go back to her
to activate her again. Then go through the door again and
make sure Kate is following you. Follow the corridor
again. It takes again a few left and right turns and then
you'll end up at the next door. This one won't go open. A
Headcrab breaks through the ventilation grate in the left
wall. Kate need to kill it, so run back to Kate and let
her kill the Headcrab. You'll need a Pass card to open up
this door, and neither you or Kate has that Pass card.
Leave Kate here, standing for this door, and crawl into
the ventilation duct and crawl through it to the end (
about halfway through you'll need to duck). You come out
of this ventilation shaft into a short corridor. On your
left is a big yellow double door and in front of you a
small metal Pass card door. Turn to the right and SAVE
GAME.
In
front of you is a big round room with a lot of those big
yellow double doors. Let's call this the
"Square". Go out the short corridor and enter
the "Square". On the other side, to the left,
there is a "RED" corridor and if you turn to the
right you'll see another corridor. Suddenly you hear the
sound of incoming Aliens.
Quickly,
run over the "Square" to that "RED"
corridor in the left corner. Remember, you do not have any
weapons at this point. Follow the "RED" corridor
and you come at an Retinal Scanner door. Use the Retinal
Scanner and go through the door and follow the corridor to
a yellow ladder, climb up this ladder and on top, follow
the corridor again. After a few turns, this corridor gets
wider and there are a few metal boxes on the right. On one
of them you'll find a Med Kit and the so badly needed Pass card.
Take it with you and then go follow the corridor again, it
takes a right turn and then you go through the door. You
are now in a Reddish lighted room. On the left wall a
Health Terminal and a HEV Terminal, so if you need
Health…To the right there's a big square hole in the
floor. Go through this hole and you're in a……glass
"house", hanging above the "Square".
You see the "Square" beneath you and there are
now a lot of Alien Slaves there and they keep teleporting
in. You are actually now sitting in a TURRET, so, look
round and find the controls and then push your
"USE" key to activate the canon of this turret
and use your mouse to shoot and move the turret up, down,
left or right, but you can also do that with your arrow
keys.
Wipe
out all those Alien Slave on the "Square"
beneath you with the turret. Make sure that there are no
survivors. When you sure that there aren't any Alien
Slaves left on the "Square", then turn a bit
round in your "Glass House" to find the short
ladder in one of the corners and climb up again to the
reddish room (just "bump the ladder"). Perhaps
you'll need to use the Health Terminal again and then go
follow the same route back until you are back down on the
"Square". Cross it to the other side and go into
the corridor in the left corner. Walk to the door at the
end. A Headcrab attacks you. Quickly, use the Pass card reader,
on the right wall, to open up the door. Kate will come in
now and she will kill the Headcrab. If needed, activate
Kate again, turn around and go back to the
"Square". Go into the corridor to the left. This
is where you came out of the ventilation shaft. Use the Card reader
to open up the small metal door and go through it and go
follow the corridor.
After
the left turn, a Mutant comes towards you. Run back to
Kate and go hide behind her. Kate must kill this Mutant.
When that has happened, follow the corridor again. It
takes a left turn and it goes up. Kate will kill the
Headcrab and then you take a right turn and you go through
the double doors into the next corridor. To the left a
Headcrab and to the right a Mutant. Make sure that Kate
first take out the Headcrab and then the Mutant. A
Headcrab attacks faster and the Mutant is further away.
When she's done go follow the corridor to the right, in
the direction that Mutant came from, and after a few steps
you go through the double doors on the left. You're in a
room with the HEV Suits Containers. Push the second button
from the right, on the console to open the Hev Suit
container and then go to it and put on your Hev Suit. Then
go back through the double doors into the corridor and
follow it to the left. Kate will then use the Retinal
Scanner to open up the next doors and you go through it
and then there's a LOADING.
After
the loading the corridor is now a narrow corridor. Follow
it to the end where to a scientist who is sitting next to
a dead scientist body, in front of the glass doors. The scientist
talks to you, but you are in a hurry, so go through the
glass doors. In this room you see two glass show-cases and
in one of them is that Alien Weapon that you wear as a
glove (I have forgotten the name of it), so push the
button on the wall to open it up and go get it. Then go
through next door. Go through the short corridor and
through the next door and…..Finally….there are your
weapons. Go get them. Make sure you pick up all your
weapons, ammo and don't forget the "Kate Kit".
If Kate is hurt, use it to heal her. Then go through the
next set of glass doors, at the back and to the right, and
then through the next doors. The corridor takes a right
turn. Well, you have the chance to try out your weapons,
so kill the Mutant and run through the corridor. Almost at
the end there's a left turn (the corridor goes straight on
here and you could follow it further, but it only brings
you into an END ROOM with an Turret in it) So take this
left turn and then go through the double doors and follow
the, now, narrow corridor. It goes left, kill Grunt and Alien
Slaves, right, kill another Alien Slave.
If
you go through that metal door 02,then you'll meet up with
an engineer in an orange suit and he won't come with you,
so forgot about it and just move on through the corridor
and after a few more turns you'll be in the last part of
it. A big glass door at the end and there is an security
door to the right and to the left. The right one is
locked, so go through the left security door and you end
up in a small room where you can pick up some ammo. Go
back into the main corridor and now go through the big
glass doors at the end. You are in a kind of hangar and in
it there is one off those Alien "Bat" planes.
Immediately turn to the left and go toward the left wall,
turn left again and climb down the short ladder to the
bottom of the "pit". Go to the left side of it
towards the two dead bodies and pick up the IRON BAR. Now
you have a better break weapon then the Billiard Stick.
Use it to break the crates and then go back up the ladder.
Walk to the back of the hangar and then go through the
security door in the left wall. You enter a RED corridor.
Follow it, left, right, kill 3 Alien Slaves, right, left,
right and then there is a LOADING.

The
Escaping Osprey
|
|
Go
on with following the corridor, it goes left, left, get
some ammo from behind a few crates and then go through the
opening on the right. You are in an big tunnel. To the
left there is an army truck with running engine and
burning headlights. Kill the Alien Slave, to the left in
the tunnel, and then go into the tunnel on the right. Kill
the Alien Slaves and walk to the back of this tunnel.
Almost at the end you kill a couple of more Alien Slaves,
break crates and then go through the opening on your left
and again through the next opening. You'll come in a
"Grey" narrow corridor with purple tiles on the
floor. Follow it, left, kill soldiers, right, right, kill
soldiers and go on to the end. To the right a metal
staircase is going up. Go under this staircase to break
some crates for some ammo and then go into the corridor in
front of the stairs. It takes a left turn. Let Kate stand
still here and walk to the end. There are a couple of
brown barrels here, to the left and on the right is a gray
security door. Go through it. You're in an outside area
and it's an Helicopter platform. A helicopter is flying
above you and it's a pain in your ass. Quickly go back
into the corridor and return to the metal staircase. Do
not take Kate with you, but just leave her standing where
she is.
Go
up the metal stairs and then follow the corridor. It goes
to the left, left, right. Go through the first door and
get some hand grenades, go back into the corridor and go
left, right and into a sort of hallway. To the left is a
window. Get the ammo from the shelves and then go through
the gray security door on the right. Again you are
outside, on a little roof and to the left there is a big
canon. Go to it and behind it and activate it with your
'USE" key and use this thing to blast that damned
helicopter out of the sky. Aim for the rotors. After you
have destroyed the helicopter, go back inside, go left and
check out the room at the back. You'll pick up some
"Live ammo" for your "Glove Gun". Then
go back to the metal stairs and go down and back to Kate.
Activate
Kate again and go again through that gray security door,
in the corridor with the brown rusty barrels, and you are
back at that helicopter platform. Cross it over to the
right, kill the lonely soldier here and then go through
the next gray security door back in. You are now in a
"Brown" corridor. Order Kate to stay here and
follow this corridor. After two left turns there is a
right turn, but there is also an Laser Booby trap. So,
from a safe distance, throw a Hand Renate around that
corner to disable this booby trap and then go back to
Kate. Activate her again and now follow this
"brown" corridor again. You'll go down a stairs
and into the next corridor. Follow it, left and left
again, LOADING.
This
corridor then takes a couple of right turns and then you
can go through the door on the right, but let Kate wait
for you in the corridor, to kill 4 Alien Slaves in the
room and to pick up some ammo. Back into the corridor. It
goes right, right, left, left, right and then let Kate
wait here again and do the next bit alone.
Beyond
the next turn you have to kill a couple of soldiers at the
metal staircase. Then go and Break the crates and go back
to Kate and activate her again and go back to the stairs.
Go up this stairs. Upstairs you go through the short
corridor and then you come to the security door at the
back. Again let Kate wait here and then step through this
door. You are in an outside area again and again it's a
landing place for helicopters. There's a big personal
helicopter here, but it will explode, so do not get to
near to it. You can "help" it explode by
throwing a grenade into it. Go to the right side of this
outside area and kill the only remaining soldier who's in
the entrance of the tunnel. This tunnel will bring you
absolutely nothing but there's a security door to the
right. So go back to Kate and bring her along and then go
through that gray security door here. STOP. You'll need to
go follow this "Brown" corridor ahead of you,
but you can take the time to climb up that yellow ladder,
on your left. Kate will stay in the corridor. When you do
climb up that yellow ladder than you can search all the
rooms up there, killing a few soldiers and collecting
ammo. When you're done, then climb back down the yellow
ladder, activate Kate again and go follow the
"brown" corridor. It takes a turn and you'll go
down a metal stairs and then again through the corridor.
There will be a LOADING
The
corridor goes right, left, kill the Alien Slaves and then
pick up the Colt Commander from the Iron Box, break the
wooden crates for a Hev-Power up and then go follow the
corridor further to the left and then you're at the end of
it at a door. Leave Kate here in the corridor and then go
through the door. You're on a metal walkway above the
floor of a big warehouse. This warehouse is full with RED
CONTAINERS. Go down the long ramp, on your left, to the
floor of this warehouse and then it's a matter of wiping
out a couple of Alien Slaves who teleporting in. Just run
back an fourth between the containers and clean the room
out. There are 5 or 6 Alien Slaves to kill here. When your
done go back to Kate and bring her here to.
In
the left corner, of the left wall, there is a fence and
behind it you see a metal door and a Retinal Scanner.
You'll need to go through that door, but first you need to
find the button that will open up this fence. A bit
further to the right there is a big tunnel door. Open it
by pushing the button on the right of this door.
Immediately kill the Alien Slave who was behind this door
in the short tunnel. This short tunnel is not important,
but by opening this big door you will have open up that
fence to. It's however quit possible that during your
fight with the other Alien Slaves, this Alien Slave
already came out this tunnel, and then that Fence is
already open. So go back to that fence and go through it
and get Kate to use the Retinal Scanner. The metal door
goes open. Go through it and then just follow the
corridor, ignore all the side turns, kill 2 or 3 Alien
Slaves while you go and after a few turns you come up at a
big metal door that is halfway open. Kate can not go
through it, so you have to leave her here for a while. She
will wait for you here. You must no find a way to open up
an other door, just like this one, where Kate can go
through to enter the LAMBA COMPLEX. Jump over the door
into the next section and go Left through the corridor to
the back, and then take the right turn and again the right
turn. LOADING

Where
Am I?
|
|
Go
on through the corridor. Left, right turn, the next metal
door goes open all by itself, move on and then you come up
at a hole in the left wall. Passed this hole, the corridor
takes one last left turn and then you enter the BIG
TELEPORTER ROOM of the LAMBA COMPLEX. Just before you,
Gordon Freeman, and after him, Adrian Sheppert were here
to take the "ride" to XEN. Well, that's what you
got to do also right now. Don't waste time, and ammo, on
all those flying Aliens. They are very hard to kill and
you better save your ammo. Simply rush to the right side
of this very large and round room to that big yellow
platform. Wait until you hear a big bang. On the lower
part of the platform you'll see an Orange/Green Vortex
appear. Climb up the RED ladder, all the way up until you
can jump onto the higher part of the big yellow platform.
Then jump onto the lower part and run into that Teleport
Vortex and you'll end up in:
XEN:
Things
will get a little bit difficult here. As you perhaps know
from Half Life, Xen is a different world in a different
dimension. It consists of a large number of
"Islands" that are "floating" in the
"air". There are little islands but big ones to.
Gravity is very low here, so you can make high and far
jumps. Don't worry, you won't stay for long here and this
XEN part is by far not so difficult as it was in the
original Half Life game.
You
are currently on one of the smaller "islands".
Walk, carefully, to the edge and look down in to the void.
Beneath you, you will see a somewhat bigger
"island" and you spot a corpse on it. Well, SAVE
GAME here and then just jump down and try to land onto
that bigger island with the corpse on it. Next to that
corpse you will find a HEV Powerup. Get it if you need it
and then go to the edge, right in front of the corpse.
Again, look down. Again beneath you, you spot a much
bigger "island" now. It's very green and it's a
long way down. A kind of blue pillar is rising up from it
and this "pillar" is attached to a little island
that's about on your level. Well, you just have to let
yourself fell down an land onto that big green island.
When you have reach it, turn around and walk to the edge
and drop off to a lower ledge that is a bit lighter then
the rest of this island and it's sticking a bit out. Then
turn around again and you will see the entrance of a CAVE.
It's shielded by a green "Net". Break through it
and go into this cave. Go into the "muddy swamp"
and then turn immediately to the right. Kill the 2 Grunts
and walk straight ahead to the back to the Orange/Green
Vortex and step in it. You are being teleported again and
you'll end up in the next part of XEN, the
"Factory".
Turn
around and go through the narrow corridor to enter the
"Factory". There is a big fight going on between
a lot of Aliens and a few soldiers. The soldiers will
lose. When the soldiers are all dead, then run in and go
climb up the steps at the back and then to the left up the
slope. On top of this slope you have to kill some Alien
Slaves and then go and step onto the "Elevator
Stone". It will bring you up to the next floor. Step
off it there and then go straight ahead to the back wall.
Look to the left and you see a "Blue" lighted
narrow corridor going down. Go in it and follow it. It
takes a right turn and you enter a next section of the
"Factory". Kill some more Alien Slaves and then
go up again with the second "Elevator Stone" on
the right side. When you're again a floor up, and now
you're all the way up, turn to the left and jump to and
through that Orange/Green Vortex and it will bring you
back into the Lamba Complex of the Black Mesa Complex.
Well,
your little trip to XEN has brought you here in an
"Orange" corridor. Turn around and follow this
"Orange" corridor , killing a couple of soldiers
on the way, and you will come at a same kind of big metal
door as where you left Kate behind. This doors goes open
as you approach it. So, go through it and then straight
ahead and then to the right and follow this, familiar,
corridor back to KATE.
Kate
is now in the company of a scientist and he can heal Kate,
if she's hurt. Activate Kate again and then go back to
that big metal door at the end of the "Orange"
corridor. (of course it's now at the beginning of it) The
XEN route you took was necessary to open up this door to
enable Kate to enter the Lamba Complex now.
So,
go back through this door and follow the Orange Corridor
back, right, left, right, right, left and then you see
that Green/Orange Vortex again that brought you out of
Xen.. Don't go to it, but go right and into that "gray"
corridor and follow it. It goes, left an then, passed the
section with the orange and blue pipes, you go to the
right and then straight, left again and you'll be at the
end. To the left you see a sign on the wall and it reads
"Lamba Reactor Level A". You can not go through
the "Core Level D" door at the back, so go left
through the "Caution" door. Again an Orange
corridor, follow it to the right and you come at an
Retinal Scanner door. Kate will open it for you, so go
through it and make sure that Kate follows you. Then
there's a LOADING.
Liquids:
Go
to the right and then right around the corner, then door
D461-MK is locked, so go left through the last door. You
enter a high room with an iron grate floor. There are
pipes, two "Spitting Beast" and some Barnacles
on the ceiling. Also it's a little bit radioactive here,
so do not stay to long here. Kill that "Spitting
Beast" and all the Barnacles and then go down the
ramp. Ignore the crates and cross over the grates to the
back, cross over the smaller part and then go to the left,
kill the "Spitting Beast" and then go through
the door. Now you must go through a series of tunnels. Go
to the right, kill the Grunt and go follow the tunnels. It
goes, right, left across the grates, left and you enter
the next tunnel. Kill the Grunt to the left and then go
there and go through the door. Cross this radioactive room
to the right and go through the door . You come into a
kind of hallway with a couple of doors in it. Kill the 2
Grunts and then go to the back and Leave Kate here and
then go through the last door at the left.
You
enter a series of corridors. All of these corridors have
iron beams on the walls and the ceilings. They are pretty
narrow and you will encounter Elite Soldiers in them. You
need to go through, and clean them out first before you
bring Kate through them. Go right, left and then you'll
see a couple of those Elite Soldiers. They have there
backs towards you. Well: don't wait to find out what they
are up to, but start wiping them out and then go on. It's
a bit wider now and there a few yellow barrels on the left
and an Health Terminal. Then the corridor takes a right
turn, you'll pick up a new weapon, have encounters with
more Elite Soldiers, kill them all, and finally you'll
enter into a staircase. Get the HEV-Upgrade and the ammo
from behind the stairs first and then go all the way up
this stairs to see if there are more Elite Boy's in this
staircase. Kill them if there are and then go way back to
where you left Kate, activate her again and bring her now
safely through these corridors and then go up this stairs
again. Go all the way up, and then through the door and go
through the next corridor. It goes left and then there's
the LOADING.
The
corridor goes on, right, left and then you go through an
already open door into a very long tunnel. There's a
Yellow Cabin here. You are at the beginning of the
Underground Canal 1. Go into the cabin and make sure
Kate's getting in it to. When both of you are in the
Cabin, then push the button, on the right at the back, and
the Cabin begins his journey across this canal. Just
before the first curve the cabin comes to a dead stop. The
POWER is OUT. Well, I'm very sorry to tell you this, but
YOU have to go for a swim now. Kate stay's in the cabin waiting
for you to bring the power back on-line. I hope you have
the crossbow with the deadly arrows because there are a
few big FISH swimming in the canal.
So,
jump into the water and follow it all the way to the end.
You can do this swimming above or under the surface. When
you dive under, then you can see those big fish in time,
but you need to surface a couple of times to get air.
Anyway, when you have reached the end of this canal then
climb out it by climbing up the short ladder on the left
side. You'll see a window to the left and behind it is the
control room for the cabin. The RED Button won't work, so
go through the door. You enter into a short Blue corridor.
To the left is a Retinal Scanner door and to the
right…….Booby Traps. Go to the left towards the
Retinal Scanner. SHI….it's "out of order" so
to speak. You can not open this door and that's a shame
because this door would have brought you to that control
room. You have to find an other way to reach that control
room. Stay at this Retinal Scanner door and turn around.
Shoot at the Booby Traps in front of you to disable them,
then go to the back and then through the door at the left.
You
have entered a Blue room, break the crates here and go
through the door on the left and through the short
corridor and then through the next door. Now you are at
Canal 2. Again, take a deep breath and jump into the canal
and follow it to the left. Again it's a long swim and
there is a LOADING about halfway through, but finally you
come to the DAM/BARRAGE. On the other side of this
DAM/BARRAGE, the canal "falls" into a kind of
"lake". It's a long fall. So, from the water,
JUMP OVER THE DAM, it's really easy to do, and you'll end
up in the "Lake" at the other side of this DAM.
There are a couple of big Fish here, so either kill them
or search for the long ladder quickly and get the hell out
of the water. The ladder will bring you out of the water.
Go through the door and through the next one and then
follow the corridor behind it. When this corridor takes a
left turn you are attacked by an insect that comes out a
hole in the wall. Kill it and then go through the next
door.
Now
you're in a big room and the walls here are partly Orange
and there are several doors on the other side. Turn to the
right, kill the "Spitting Beast" and then walk
to the back and cross over to the left side and there go
through the very last door. Follow the corridor, you have
another encounter with an insect, and at the end you go
through the next door into a high "shaft" with
Blue and Orange Pipes that goes up. Behind these pipes, to
the left, is an "Spitting Beast", kill it and
then climb up the ladder in the corner. Go all the way up
and then jump to the left onto the platform and go through
the next door. Again a corridor, so go through it. It
takes a left turn and then you need to run quickly to the
little wall and throw an hand grenade around the left
corner to disable the turret over there. When you have
disabled it, SAVE GAME and then walk on and go to the door
behind this turret. Go through it……Eh…..sorry about
this….I forgot to tell you about these 2 TURRETS.
Behind
this door are 2 more turrets and if you open this door
then…..you're DEAD. I learned this the hard way, so
figure out the best strategy to disable those turrets
behind this door, without getting killed. I must tell you
that I went for the GOD CHEAT here. In any case, you must
go through this door into the room behind it. Go through
this room and get the ammo, on the right side behind the
turrets, and then go through the next door into the next
corridor. Follow this corridor and while you do so there's
a LOADING
At
the end of the corridor you go through the door and you
enter a Blue Hall. There are 3 doors here. The door right
in front of you is the Retinal Scanner door that you could
not open at the end of Canal 1.You can open it now by pushing
the red button on the right wall and then you are back in
the short Blue corridor at the end of Canal 1. But don't
do this right now. First go to the right. Two doors there,
a Retinal Scanner door and a "normal" door. You
can not open the Retinal Scanner door, so go through the
"normal" door an then go up the stairs. Left,
kill the Black Ops lady, and then go through the door on
the right. Whoopy…you're in that Cabin Control Room now.
Ignore the dead body and go to the console and push the gray
button. You'll here the Cabin start again. Leave the room,
down the stairs again and into the Blue Hall again. Now go
to the door at the back, push the red button and go
through it into the short blue corridor and then right
back to the canal.
The
yellow cabin is coming now or is already here. Activate
Kate again, go again into the short blue corridor and go
through the broken down Retinal Scanner door on the left,
back into the Blue Hall. Bring Kate to the Retinal Scanner
door here and make her use the Retinal Scanner to open
this door. Go through, make sure Kate follows you, and follow
this, more or less Purple corridor with a yellow paint
line on the walls. All yellow doors in this corridor are
locked, also the one at the end, and this corridor appears
therefore to be a dead end. But, almost at the end, is the
entrance of a long and very dark tunnel, in the right
wall. So, activate your flashlight, make sure that Kate
will follow you, and go into this dark tunnel and follow
it to the end. About hallway through this tunnel there
will be a LOADING.

Old
Black Mesa
|
|
When
you come out of the dark tunnel, you are in a dark
corridor. You are in the OLD BLACK MESA Complex. Keep your
flashlight on and turn to the right. As I said, its pretty
dark here, so keep your flashlight pointed at the RIGHT WALL
of this corridor to see where you're going. Follow this
corridor to the back and then it takes a right turn,
follow it further and keep your flashlight again pointed
on the right walls. You'll go passed a yellow door and
then you'll see a GREY door in the right wall of this
corridor. Go through it. You are now in the Generator
room. Go to the back wall. There you'll find the big
generator. Push the RED button, to the left of the POWER
word. Thank God, the lights go on now. So switch of your
flashlight.
LEAVE
KATE BEHIND HERE IN THIS GENERATOR ROOM. The next couple
of section are dangerous and it's likely that she get
killed. You do not really need her to open up doors in
those few sections, so you better let her stay here for a
while and when you have clean the next sections out, you
can come back to get her.
Go
back into the corridor and follow this corridor further to
the right and you'll come at a Yellow Door. Go through it.
You are in an outside area on a walkway and to your left
is the red rocky wall. A few steps in front of you stands
a Barney. Go to him and then this Barney will say that he
hears a noise. Go around the corner and……Elite
Soldiers drop down on ropes. Kill them all and collect
there weaponry. Make sure none of them goes passed you
because when they get to Kate, they will kill her. If you
have wiped them all out then follow the walkway to the
back and go through the next Yellow door at the and follow
the next corridor. There is a room on the right you can
enter for some ammo. You'll come up at an junction. Kill
the soldiers here. You must go left here to follow the
corridor further but first go straight ahead. Its a dead
end but if you turn left than you can break through the
planks and then go into the room behind it for some HEV
and Health. Go back into the corridor and back to that
junction and now follow it through to the end, killing a
couple of Elite troops while you go and you can enter all
the rooms to kill the soldiers and to find some ammo. Just
before you reach the end of this corridor you need to
disable a laser booby trap and then you will come into the
BIG HAL of this complex.
Quickly
turn to the right and disable the turret that's hanging
down from the ceiling. Go passed the counter and then to
the right to the big glass doors. Push the wall button to
open up the glass door and go through them and follow the corridor. It
goes left, right, left. There are a couple of side
corridors and they all lead to security doors and all of
those security doors are locked. You'll have to kill a
couple of Alien Slaves and it seems that there's no way
out of this section. There are a few rooms you can enter
to find some Ammo and health. But in the last of the side
corridors, to the left, you will see a BIG HOLE in the
wall and in this hole you'll see two BLUE PIPES. That's
your way out. If you are sure that you have killed all
opposition in this entire section, than go all the way
back to the generator room where you have left Kate
behind, activate her again and bring her along now to this
big hole in the wall. You'll have to leave Kate here
again, standing by this big Hole, and then you jump into
the broken pipe, you fall down a bit and then you break
through the grate and you fall down a bit further. Turn
around and crawl through the pipe……..
Now
we see a cut scene: Kate, who is still standing in front
of that big hole in the corridor, is now being captured by
Elite Soldiers under the command of the ADMINISTRATOR..
She's not killed, so now it's your turn to save here.
LOADING:
Keep crawling through the pipe and after a few turns you
fall down a vertical pipe and you end up in a kind of
"swimming pool". Turn around to look for the
ladder and climb out the water. Turn left and go through
the door. Follow the corridor. It goes right and then
there is an already open door on the right. 2 Alien Slaves
teleport in here. Kill them. Then go through the
"Maintenance Access" door and then up the long gray
ladder to the top. On top of this ladder you enter into a
train tunnel. There is a nice red locomotive standing
ready here. Unfortunately it will not start. There's no
POWER. The "power indicate light", on the wall,
isn't on. You must however take this train, so you must
find the generator and turn it on again to get power for
this train. So go back down the ladder and then to the
right through the last bit of the corridor to the door at
the end.
Go
through the door and you are in an outside area again. You
are at the beginning of a street between the office
buildings. In the middle runs a canal. When you look up,
you'll see the train rails. Well, just follow this street
to the very back of it and while you go you have to fight
off a couple of Alien Slaves. Do not go into any off the
buildings, just go to the very end of this curved street.
There you go through the door at the very end of the
street into the last building.
Follow
this corridor all the way to a yellow elevator. Kill the 2
Alien Slaves here and then ride this elevator up. Its a
long way up. Go out the elevator and straight through the
door in front of you (the door behind the elevator is
locked, but through that door you will come back here
later) and follow the very long corridor , there is a
LOADING, and you will end up in an END ROOM. Here, climb
up the RED LADDER. On top, step through the iron door and
you'll be in a big outside area again.
As
soon as you step through this last door you'll see an
WARNING on your screen. It says: "WARNING: IN HERE
HUMAN GRUNT ARE ASSUMED FRIENDS. SPECIAL FORCES ARE
HOSTILES AS USUAL". So, in this next section the
NORMAL SOLDIERS are your friends, but the Elite Soldiers
and the aliens still are the enemy. So, do not shoot at
the NORMAL Soldiers. You need them to go safely through
the next section.
Go
up the steps and then turn to the right. In front of you
is a big wall and you see an helicopter that is attempting
to land behind it. Wait, and you'll see that helicopter
explode. Then go to the wall and a big piece of the wall
is blowing away. Go through it and go kill the Grunt at
the wreck of the plane. Then turn to the right and wait
until that big monster has teleported itself away again.
Deal with the other Grunt and then turn to the left and go
to the corner under the tower. Go through the gray door
there, at the window, and you enter into a little office.
Here you find a soldier and he is wearing a GAS MASK. DO
NOT KILL HIM. THIS IS ADRIAN SHEPPERT and he is busy with
his OPPOSING FORCE MISSION.
Well,
that's nice. Let me explain first. You must activate
Adrian Sheppert now to make him follow you through the
next section of the game. You need him to open up a door
for you, so make sure that he isn't killed.
So,
activate him and then step outside and go to the far left
corner and then left through the small iron door into the
building. You will get a warning not to forget Adrian. Go
on and after a few left and right turn you are at the
beginning of a road tunnel. SAVE GAME HERE.
Again,
let me explain first: You will encounter 2 kinds of
soldiers in this tunnel. The Normal Soldiers in the
lighter outfit, like Adrian Sheppert, and the Elite
Soldiers in there darker outfit. The normal soldiers will
team up with Adrian so they are your friends here. You
need them to wipe out all the Elite Soldiers here in this
tunnel. All the way at the back of this tunnel there is a
big hall and there stands a TANK and that Tank will fire
nasty rockets at you and the "Adrian Sheppert
team". In that hall is the door you'll need to go
through, but you need Sheppert to open it up for you. But
Adrian Sheppert will only do that after you have taken
out that TANK. I hope you have the heavy stuff by now.
Well,
it's pretty straight forwards actually. There's a big
fight going on, in the first part of the tunnel between
the "Sheppert" boys and the Elite boys, so go
and join in and make sure that Adrian Sheppert isn't
killed and work your way through this tunnel. Please, do
try to NOT shoot at the "Sheppert" soldiers. If
you do then they are not "friendly" anymore. Let
them deal with the Elite soldiers. After the army truck it
goes to the right and then it comes out into that hall at
the end. Sheppert will not enter this part, not before you
have disabled that Tank. So if you have a few of those
laser booby trap mines on you, try to attached one of them
on the tank an another on the door or the wall behind the
tank and then detonate them from a save distance….bye bye
tank. You can try it with simple Hand grenades to. I guess
you better come up with your own strategy on how to wipe
out this tank and to stay alive and to keep Adrian
Sheppert alive. In any case YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT ADRIAN
SHEPPERT SURVIVE ALL OFF THIS. It does not matter if all
off his mates are killed.
When
the tank is down and all of the Elite boys to, Adrian
Sheppert will also run into this end HALL. Bring him to
that iron door in the right back corner of the hall.
Sheppert will knock this door down and then 2 Alien Slaves
come in and they take grab Sheppert and teleport out
again. It doesn't matter, Sheppert has done his bit for
you.
So,
go through the door that Sheppert has open up for you and
follow the corridor, down the stairs and through the next
door. Kill the Grunt and go through the next door at the
back. Follow corridor and then you come at a DANGER HOLE.
Go down the RED ladder in this hole. Follow the next
corridor and there will be a LOADING.
After
the next turn, go through the door on the right and, at
last, you are at the GENERATOR. Turn it on by pushing the
"High Voltage" button. Go back into the corridor
and go follow it to the right and then you go through a
door and you're back at the Yellow Elevator. Ride the
elevator back down and go again through the corridor and
outside into the street again. By now there are a lot of
those flying Aliens in the air here and they are hard to
kill, so run through the street to the back (actually you
could go into some of the buildings on the left side to
collect some ammo), go through the door and go back
through the "Maintenance Access" door, up the
ladder and you're back at the Red Locomotive. Well, the
power is on now, so get in, activate it with your
"USE" key and push your forwards Key to move it.
You ride it through the door and then it follows the
street for a bit and after the curve you go through the
next doors into the tunnel again. DRIVE THE TRAIN SLOWLY
now. After the next few turns in this tunnel, there is a
big gab in the tunnel and if you drive the locomotive to
fast, you'll collapse into that hole.
So
drive slowly on and when you see that hole in the tracks,
I believe after the second turn, STOP THE TRAIN. Jump out
on the right side an onto the ledge that goes along the
right wall of the tunnel. Walk, slowly now to the hole.
The ledge you are on is broken to, so you need to jump
over to the other side. You can not reach the other side
in one jump, so you'll need to jump 2 times in a roll to
get on the other side of the gab. When you have reach the
other side, then go over the rails to the platform on the
left side. Climb onto this platform and then go through
the door on the left. Follow the corridor. When you reach
the stone staircase, look out. There's a turret coming out
of the ceiling, so disable it quickly and then go down
this stairs. Go left and through the next door.
You
are now in a wider corridor. Kill the Houndeyes, left and
right, and then follow this corridor to the left all the
way to the back. You come into a hallway with a little
office straight ahead. Kill the Houndeyes and break the
crates here and then climb through the window into the
office for some ammo, Health and HEV. Climb back out
through the window. Go through the already open door,
right in front of you. Break crates and then go to the
right and through the next door. Left, follow corridor,
right, right and then left through the next door.
IMMEDIATELY take cover to the right behind the crates and
throw a few hand grenades at those two turrets in front of
you. When they are down, go and break the crates here.
You
are in a big train hall and there are two trains here.
Cross over the rails, kill the 3 Grunts who then appear,
break some more crates and then go into the BACK train.
Start it up and give gas and you go on a train ride
through the narrow train tunnel. After a few turn, you
ride through a round shaft. From above soldiers will fire
at you. Give more gas to go through this shaft at more
speed and after a couple of more turns you come up at a
little platform with a couple of crates on it and two Alien
Slaves. You could stop the train here to kill the two
Slaves and to break those crates. Then go on with the
train ride again and finally the train will bring you at a
platform, on the right side, with crates on it and blue
generators and this is the end of this train ride. Get
onto this platform. Kill the rats, break the crates and
then go through the door, behind those blue generators.
SAVE GAME HERE. Follow the corridor and after a couple of
turns, you come up At a door with a big A on it. SAVE GAME
and then go through this door …..Oooooo….as soon as
you step through this door A, a cut scene will start.
You'll
see yourself enter a big and high HALL and you see Kate,
she's in a liquid tank behind the window high up. She's
guarded by two Black Ops ladies. The cut scene goes on and
you'll see the ADMINISTRATOR. He's is above you at the
other side of this hall. The Administrator will release a
big RED MONSTER in a minute and it will try his best to
kill you.
You
have to kill it or it will kill you. What's the best
strategy for this? Well, I do not know, I just went for
the GOD CHEAT here after a couple of trials. I can tell
you this: The Monster is Charged and as it fires upon you,
it will lose power and it then needs to recharges itself.
Then, an only then you can hurt him with your weapons. All
marked doors are locked, so there is no escape. You can go
up the ramp to the walkway above to shoot at the monster
from there. On the floor of this hall you will find a
couple of big crates. When you break these crates, you get
al sorts of ammo. You can place mines on the floor and
then Lure the beast to this mine and try to detonate it at
the right moment. When you are lucky, that's the end of
the monster. You could try it with a couple of your laser booby traps.
Place them well and detonate them in the right time. When
all of this didn't kill the monster then you have to use
your shoot weapons on it, but as I said, you can only harm
him when he's recharging himself, and it will take a lot
of bullets to kill him. So go and figure out the best way
to kill the beast.
When
you have killed this monster, then a few soldiers will
come in. Kill them and then go through the door that is
right under Kate's prison. Then go to the right and up the
stairs and on top through the Blue door and you're at
Kate. Kill the 2 Black Ops ladies and then go to that
green machine and push the LEFT button to free Kate. No
time to chat, so activate Kate and make sure she follows
you again and go back down the stairs again. Go through
the door on the right and follow the corridor to a Retinal
Scanner door. Kate will use the Retinal Scanner to open up
this door, activate her again and then go through the
door. LOADING.

Let's
Get Out Of Here
|
|
Follow
this corridor and after 2 right turn you come to the next
door. Leave Kate here. You will hear gunfire from behind
this door. Go through it and immediately turn to the left.
You are in a canal tunnel and right in front of you
there's a bloody fight going on between Elite Troops and a
couple of Grunts. The Elite boy's don't stand a change.
When the Grunts are done with the soldiers, then go and
take out the Grunts. Break all the crates here. I strongly
advise you to break all the crates from this point on, especially
the big ones, because you have to find the heavy artillery
such as the Bazooka now. You'll need it. Go and get Kate
and then go through the tunnel to the back and then to the
right. You can find HEV on the boot. Then go through the
second door in the back wall, it's the door close to the
big RED door.
Follow
the corridor to the back and then LEAVE KATE here at the
doorway. Go through the doorway. Another canal tunnel.
STOP do not go on. There's a GUNSHIP in the canal here and
you can not take it out with the weapons you have. Break
the first of those large crates by the canal. You will
pick up the BAZOOKA from it. The Gunship is behind the
next couple of crates and it has 3 Turrets on it. Do not
break the rest of the crates just yet, but use them as
cover and take out that Gunship with the Bazooka. You'll
need a shot or two and you will only be able the disable
the 3 turrets, not the entire ship. When you have taken
care of the gunship, then go get Kate again and then break
every crate in this second canal tunnel and then go
through it to the back. You will pick up some ammo from
the dead guy's and then go through the door on the left.
Go up the stairs and on top through the door and you are
now in a big round shaft.
Beneath
you is water and a big FAN is turning around. You are
standing on a rusty grate. Kill the only soldier, right,
and then walk on to the door on the right. It's locked.
You and Kate need to go through this door, so you'll need
to take an other route to open up this door from the other
side to let Kate go through it. You leave Kate here again.
Walk back to the door you enter, turn around and then JUMP
down and land onto the iron platform that is attached to
the FAN. Walk over it to the White Door and go through it.
You have entered a series of narrow tunnels. Go straight
and then immediately to the LEFT, straight and then again
LEFT. LOADING.
Walk
to the end and then Jump into the water. ( there are 2 big
Fish in this water, so be on your guard) Swim to the
bottom, turn LEFT and follow this underwater iron walkway
to the next crossing. Go LEFT here, through the door and
climb up the RED ladder and you are out of the water
again. Go over the grate and then through the door. The
room you now enter is partly under water and there's a
"Spitting Beast" here in the water, so take care
of it. Then walk over the grate to the door at the back
(Above the water surface) and go through it. Follow the
corridor, Left, Right, kill the 2 Alien Slaves, Right and
you come up at an Retinal Scanner door. You can not open
this door, but through the window you'll see a wounded guy
there. You need Kate to use the Retinal Scanner, so go on
through the corridor and then through the door at the
back, cross through the room that is partly under water
and go through the next door. Corridor, up the stairs,
follow the corridor and then there's a LOADING. The
corridor goes on an then you have to kill 2 Elite Troopers
in the wider section of this corridor. Here there are
Health and HEV Terminals on the wall and you can pick up
some ammo from the metal crates. Then go through the last
bit of this corridor and through the next door and you are
back at Kate in the round "water" shaft.
Activate
Kate again and bring here to that Retinal Scanner door
with the wounded guy behind it (it
could be that Kate will not go through the door to leave
the round shaft, then you actually need to 'PUSH" or
"PULL" here through it, it's very frustrating).
When you made it back to that Retinal Scanner door,
Kate will open it up for you. Go into the room and push
the Red button on the Green machine. Now you have drained
the water out all of the rooms here. Go into the corridor
an follow it back to the left until you are back in t room
where you have killed that "Spitting Beast"
earlier. Here you go down the iron stairs and then through
the door. Follow the purple corridor and then through the
next door into the next cellar. Break all the crates here
and go through the next door at the back. You enter into a
staircase.
Turn
to the right and go through the WHITE door beneath the
stairs ( DO NOT GO UP THIS STAIRS, if you do, you keep
going round in circles), Go Left, kill Beast, follow
corridor and you will come to a next Retinal Scanner door.
Kate must open it and when she has done this, go through
it and follow the corridor. There's a LOADING
At
the end you go through the Steel Door into an control
room. Go to the right and then through the door. You are
in an outside area with a little "lake". Go down
the iron stairs, kill the Alien Slaves here and go to the
right and then into the next corridor (that deep hole to
the left, with the red ladder in it is a dead end). The
corridor goes left, kill Alien Slave and then you go
through door F-512VX on the right. Follow this rusty
walkway between the pipes, killing a few Alien Slaves
while you do so, and after a few turns you go through the
next door. You are in a room with a deep pit in it, to the
left Health and Hev terminals and to right the canal. Kill
the 2 Alien Slaves here, break the crates and then cross
over the grate to the next door and go through it. Follow
corridor, up the stairs and then further down the
corridor. Left. Right LOADING

Last
Step
|
|
The
corridor takes a right turn again and then it ends up into
an broken down staircase. The stairs is broken, shot to
pieces, but there is an RED LADDER and an ELEVATOR
platform. SAVE GAME HERE, just to be on the safe side. You
need to go up the red ladder and when you are on top of it
turn to the right and then jump onto the top bit of the
stairs and then walk on to that dead soldier. Meanwhile,
Kate will come up with the little elevator and she will
join up with you at this dead body.
You
are about to begin with the last section of this game. The
place is crawling with Elite Soldiers and you will
encounter a 4 Helicopters who also are after you and Kate.
Also there are a lot of Alien Slaves and Grunts to kill
here.
Well,
actually you are now on the first floor of an staircase in
a broken down building and you are standing in front of
that dead soldier. To the right, the stairs go further up,
straight ahead you'll see a dark doorway and to the left
is a larger opening to a bigger room. It's better to hide
Kate now and clean out this building and the surrounding
streets first on your own, before taking Kate outside. So
bring Kate through that opening on your left into the
room. From here you can see the streets. Lead Kate into
the darker part, on the left, of this room and LEAVE HER
here. She will be relatively safe here. SAVE GAME HERE
Then
go back into the staircase and go up. You need to jump a
couple of times during your climb up this stairs. Go
through all the ruined rooms on the second and on the third
floor and clean them out. Kill all the Elite Troops and a
few Grunts in this building and collect as many ammo as
you can. Then return to the first floor and go through all
the rooms there. Again kill all the soldiers and a Grunt
here and collect ammo. When you are certain that you have
clean out the entire building, then go into the room where
you have left Kate behind. Do not activate her now, but
let her stay put. Go left through the big hole in the wall
and you are outside in the streets.
Immediate
go LEFT and you'll see that this asphalt street is going
down into a tunnel. Kill the soldier who's probably in
this tunnel now. Do not go into this tunnel now, but go beyond
it to the next street. Go right here and go in hiding in
the building on the left. There's a red ladder going up.
in this room wait for the FIRST HELICOPTER who's circling
in the air and get the BAZOOKA out. When you have a good
clear shot Use the BAZOOKA to get ride of this helicopter.
If you need extra ammo for the bazooka, go climb up this
ladder. When you are absolutely certain that you have
wiped out all the enemies here, then go back to Kate,
activate her and go out into the street and make damned
sure that she follows you into the tunnel on the left.
If
you take Kate out into the street before you have killed
all the enemies in the building and in the street on your
own, including that helicopter, then Kate gets really crazy
and she will go run around like crazy and eventually will
get killed.
When
you and Kate are safely in the tunnel, then follow it into
the underground parking lot. A couple of Alien Slaves will
teleport in here. Kill them and then you have to leave
Kate here again. Make absolutely sure that you do not take
Kate out of this parking lot just yet. Go out this parking
lot through the next tunnel and you're back into the
streets again on the other side of this underground
parking lot.
Follow
this street around the left corner, kill the soldier who's
at that army truck in the corner and then go hide in de
tunnel at the back and wait for the second Helicopter to
show up. Blast it out of the sky with the BAZOOKA. You can
climb into the back of the army truck for some ammo. Also
there could be a sniper in one of the buildings who shoot
at you when you are in this street. When you have blast
this second helicopter out of the sky, then go back into
the underground parking lot and get Kate to follow you
again. Together you go out into the this street again,
follow it back to that army truck in the corner, go left
and all the way to the back and there go into the tunnel.
At the back of this short, dead end, tunnel you go into
the narrow corridor on the left and follow it. After a few
turns there's a LOADING.
After
this LOADING, put Kate on HOLD again. Leave her here in
this relatively safe corridor. Go on, on your own now, to
clear out the next area. This next area is a maze of
ruined buildings with a lot of ruined rooms. You just need
to go through them all, finishing off all the soldiers in
it, collecting ammo and also you'll need to blast two more
Helicopters out of the sky. I can not give you an exact
route description for this maze area, just go through all
the corridors and into all the broken up rooms an when you
are ABSOLUTELY SURE that you have whipped out all the
opposition here, including the two Helicopters, then go
back and find Kate in the corridor you left her, activate
her again and now you must lead her through the maze area
to the EXIT OF THE GAME.
So
Activate Kate again and then go on again into the maze
area. No I can give you the right way to the EXIT of this
maze. When you again come out the corridor where you have
left Kate in (this time WITH KATE), go IMMEDIATELY to the
right and then all the way to the back where it is
lighter. Go Left here and then straight on to the back, go
left and again to the back turn Right and go passed the
room with the big window (on your right) and then take a
few steps forwards into the ruined room ahead of you.
Here, turn to the left and then you'll see the EXIT of
this maze area. It's the open doorway. Step through it and
you are outside again. PUT KATE ON HOLD AGAIN and SAVE
GAME. Go to the right and down and then go to the corner
of the building and go right. Again you are on an road.
Kill the last four remaining Elite Troops here and then
you get a message telling you to go to that JEEP. But first
go back to KATE and bring her to the already waiting JEEP.
You get a last warning not to forget Kate. Go in the jeep
and that's it.
I
must point out that you can only finish the game when you
indeed have KILLED all the 12 Elite Troopers and have
blast the 2 Helicopters out of the sky on this last map.
There are 8 Troopers between the ruins and 4 at the Jeep
area. You don't actually have to kill the Troopers between
the ruins yourself, if they die because a Helicopter
crashes on to them then this will count as well, but
that's difficult, so kill them.
You
and Kate drive out the Black Mesa complex into safety.
Watch, after the LOADING, the end cut scene, say hello to
the "FROG" and…..you have made it
